Research ISK Making Guide

Hey all,

this blogpost will be quite informative.

I wanted to show you a way how to make isk with bpo's. bpo's cost alot, but it can also provide an almost-assured steady isk stream. I will explain the basics here of how to make isk by science. One warning: This way of making isk is not for impatient people!

Basically, you need some basic things to start making isk in it:
1. A considerable isk supply (minimal 52M, higher advised!).
2. A good spot to do some research.
3. A market hub fairly nearby (<15 jumps).

Once you have these ingredients, lets get started. First you need some good isk-maker bpo's. We'll assume you have the above ingredients. The fastest way to make isk is in POS blueprints. The first thing you'll buy, is a POS blueprint like a coupling array blueprint original, or so (which costs 50M). If you've got more isk, go for a corporate hangar array or a ship maintenance array blueprint original! And if possible, a POS blueprint original!

Once you have it, you bring it towards your science station. Your science station needs to have waiting lines < 20 days for copying. A POS is also useful, but only when you've built up your BPO repository. When in the science station, with the bpo in the hangar, put the BPO in the lowest-waiting-line slot, with 5 runs for POS parts, 1 run for towers. Also give it the max runs you can make with your current skills within 30 days (usually between 3 and 6). Do the same with all the POS part bpo's you've bought.

As you can read above, it usually means 50 days before you get your income! So that's why it's not for impatient people! Once the research is done, you bring it to a large market hub (jita, dodixie, amarr, rens) and sell your bpc's on the contracts market! If you want quick isk, sell it just below market average! When more patient, sell it around market average!

I advise to use Jita as a market hub. Also, on average, one science job will result in 4M to 20M net profit each 45 days on average. This means that with 6 jobs (the max you can get without advanced lab operation) you'll make between 24M and 120M each 45 days on average. This doesn't seem like alot, but I'd like to remind you that it's max 3 hours work every 45 days to get this done! If you invest in getting advanced lab operation, and have the patience to skill that up to lvl 5 (takes 50 days), you can roughly double the amount of isk made!

Once you're making sufficient isk in POS part bpo's, it's time to get working on other bpo's. I'd recommend ship bpo's which are of a bigger class then destroyers (so cruisers and onwards). These need to be researched in material and time efficiency, before they can yield quite some isk! This takes aprox 4 to 6 months per bpo! You also might want to invest in a highsec pos by now, making you earn each 30 days instead of each 45 days!

For the rest, it's following your own intuition! Make sure you do what feels rights, and what is right! This guide is my own experience at these things, but there are also other ways to get into this!

If you'd like more information about it, or any other guides, feel free to send a message to Irana Alar (in EVE). Donations are also welcome!

It's been a while

Hey all,

It's been a while since my previous blog post. I'm gonna update you on some stuff.

Firstly, we've had 2 wardecs. The first one was ended in a deal (which was profitable for both sides), and the second was ended by putting the enemy to the sword (or trying to). They dropped the dec after 2 weeks.

Well, then after, we joined a 0.0 alliance. Hella alot of fun, only a bit lonely, and some BSOD guys camping us. After several days, we decided to pull up a POS, which was set up after several days. See the screenshots below here.

Not all has been well though. My health has been worsening alot the past few weeks. I had to delegate some tasks to a corporation member, who is now director. I want to thank anyone who has wished me the best!

Well, during this time, I haven't been sitting idly on EVE. I got my hands on a new toy :)
Yes yes, I've gotten an orca :) A nice ship to help my 2 hulks :) I had bought it in Jita, but not everything went as planned. When I undocked, and wanted to warp away, my orca got stuck. So I had to warp to a place, and then warp to the gate.

Once on my way, I enjoyed the views. Everything went smoothly, until I arrived at the mining site. I immediately got stuck between 2 asteroids. A sign of bad luck? I think I need to train spaceship command or perception a bit higher...

Cheers,
Irana

Bullshitting around in highsec

We were bullshitting around in Jita one evening.

See below for the video (and sorry for the background music!):

That's what you get for flying into an asteroid!

How to piss off canflippers

Hey all,

yesterday we were holding a mining op. And with a mining op there usually come canflippers. Well, we also had a canflipper popping up in a nice kestrel. Luckily for us, he didn't get any ores.

Why? Because the cans only had a bookmark in it, which I'm gonna show soon. Most of the ores were transferred directly to the orca or immediately loaded into the transport ships. So after the canflipper was circling around for 5 minutes, he left to search his (mis)fortune in other belts.

That's what I call royally pissing off canflippers!

Crossroads

Hello everyone!

This blog is about a big dilemma which we currently have with the corporation. Recently, Total Damnation has disbanded. Some people of TD, including the leadership, have formed a new alliance.

Several of our members want to join the newly formed alliance, but there are also people who prefer a different plan. This situation called for a meeting, and a vote. This is currently underway. Currently, it seems to head towards the plan of joining a different alliance. My role, as CEO, is to provide enough opportunities and options for the people in the corporation. They will be allowed to pick one of these options. I will then put the most preferred plan into action.

There also seems a general opinion that the corporation should grow member-wise. This is something that can be accomplished fairly easily. If the opinion doesn't change much in the next 2 days, I'm gonna put that into action.

All in all, it will be some intresting times the coming weeks. What direction will the corp take? What will our future be like? What risks do we run? What can we win? Those are all questions going through my head.
